Hi, Im looking for advice for the following design and function discussion in a one pipe steam config. 24' cast rad existing.
If I install a Runtal Steamview Wallhung -24 long x16 high x 2 1/2 deep on my existing through floor steam pipe the back of new rad radiator will be 4'' away from wall, which doesn't work.
Right now I have a 1 1/4' steam pipe riser outside wall which I cannot move closer to wall. I am in top floor of co-op. Can't access downstairs apt and riser likely descends to boiler outside wall. There is a straight vertical old steam valve attached to steam pipe approx 6'' off bathroom floor right now, no other visible connection within depth of floor space.

What are (best) options to allow back of new Runtal to hang 1 1/2' away from wall as it is designed to? without moving steam pipe.

Thanks ahead of time for your consideration.

I've seen ones supplied by 1-1/2" in some greenhouses/conservatories. They aren't ornate, purely functional. The greenhouses/conservatories themselves are usually works of art. Cast iron frames bolted together. Many of the old estates around here have them.
