You can mount the drop ear 90's to the wall but I have seen them with the ears tapped and small bolts attached that pull up against the sink. Check with a local restaurant supplier.

 

I think I saw a post here about the tapped drop ears. In this case the faucet is mounted and good, just need to connect supply lines.

 

Why not use some chrome elbows, 1/2" female by 3/8" compression? Then you can use some chrome supply tubes. The elbows are very shallow and won't bump into the wall.

 

why not use a sink ell, that's what they are made for.
A cast brass 90 with a large flange and tapped 1/2 female on one side and 1/2 copper on the other.

This is what i thought of after reading "pipes" post.

 

In the past, I fastened them with very large and heavy steel washers and electrical nuts, then an elbow. Flanged is nice if you're working with copper, but everybody doesn't.

 

Washers and jbox nuts. Work great

 

Faucet is on. Just looking for appropriate 90 for faucet shank. Wholesaler was useless.

Stupid wholesalers. Is it just Canada? There must be 200,000 sinks that require these in this area, and I can't find them. Seriously!
