Had a call yesterday  That I had to call the health department on.
A basement level apartment with a sewer ejector.
first off sh:censored:t everywhere. Float on pump was failed 4 inch inside main from ejector pump pit to the toilet and tub loaded solid with poop sewer soaked floors top of ejector pump rotted and exposed. Oh man the stink this guy was living in. definite slum lord I got paid credit card. Told him how bad it was with no response on how bad the situation was. He complained at how high the bill was but did not care about his tenant. I had to do it I had to call the health department on him If I did not I should not be in the business of protecting peoples heath. It was bad

most slumlords try to blame the tenents for there plumbing problems, exspecilly sewer back ups! then they want the tenent to clean up the mess .

I'll mess with slumlords big time. I always get a credit card number up front, too.

I've called health dept, child services, detectives, animal rescue, etc., more times than you can imagine.

The worse I seen sanitation-wise is a huge indoor spa half filled with sewage. The tenants were there for decades and the kids were all warped and retarded.

I got them out of there and the owner gutted the place.

Wow that remind me of a show I saw with a sewage back up. It was disgusting. They had to bring a special team in to clean it because the mold and fumes are toxic. It might have been a Dirty Jobs Episode. I love that show.
