You are forgetting the special section that can only be used by people with 10 or more posts. -grin

What exactly is a bot and what are they doing and what are they looking for?

Them comb the pages, adding to there search engines, so when someone does a search for "What exactly is a bot" it will find and list the page/s these results are found at.

All forums have a lot of lurkers who never post. Some people are not comfortable with their ability to convey words in print, others are just trying to get used to the whole online concept. Eventually, many will get brave enough to post while others will just move on.
