Yea I do feel better I'm still young but lifting sewage ejectors and sewer machines has already done damage...

Yea I'm going to get a hernia belt can you pick em up at wally world in store or do you have to order them

Be thankful you don't have to move boilers or commercial water heaters. I will take lifting 3 phase sewage pumps on chains over moving boiler sections anyday.

We do move those 100 gal 299 btu commercial hot water tank all the time... boiler sections not so much...

The problem I have with the sewage ejectors is that the people.who installed the pit lids have to be special in thier own way because the effort to get the pump out of rediculas..

and you have to dead lift the darn thing to get it out... but I'm working on a bunch of things to make life easier when I find time..

I move.around cast iron rads. Once in a while.. too

But I get what you mean those old sections are heavy!

I just bought a chinesium pully system for next to nothing has 1000 lb capacity so it its pully ratio is 6:1 so if pump pump and pipe is 150 lbs then itd only be 25 lbs..

I tested it with my old speedy 91 and it lifted it with ease with bare hands on rope so...

Last time I weighed a loaded up old commercial storage heater it was a boot 825lbs with sediment... new I think they are around 600 lbs
