Anyone here on any associations?
Looking to join a good association for reduced insurance, benefits, etc.
Just not sure which one to consider.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

PHCC, IAPMO, ICC, AWWA, RWAU and a bunch more but I have never used any of their insurance programs.

I am a member of all of them. I use them mostly for the educational part.

You all know how I feel about the PHCC or at least my State run chapter. That said, I have to fess up and admit that I did pay my dues once again and re-up my membership. The national organization does have some decent insurance programs and other worthwhile stuff. If I can just get the moron that heads our chapter to drop dead then perhaps I will feel better.

Met alot of great guys who helped me get started by jpoining association (PHCCA ) in 1990. Helped me get welding sub jobs, helped with residential plumbing quotes (new work) and was there anytime I called to give direction.

A boat without a rudder is just wandering aimless until rocks find it

GPTA-Georgia Plumber Trade Association- $75 bucks /year and the only reason i'm in it , is so I can take my continuing education online. They also keep my information for 3 years incase the license police asked for the info.
