I want the smallest 18-30v impact driver made. Not sure what brand that is yet.
I believe it's DeWalt as smallest, edging out Milwaukee(Or Makita?) by about 3/16". Check out the "TorqueTestChannel" on the youtube.I want the smallest 18-30v impact driver made. Not sure what brand that is yet.

I also have a set of SpeedBor bits and I agree, they are really good, better than standard paddle bits for sure. I have a 5/8" Milwaukee #14341 paddle bit for doing shower valves in tight stud bays. It was the shortest 5/8" paddle bit I could find and I have contemplated grinding one down to be shorter.I have the Milwaukee, I mostly use it for drilling studs with stubby paddle bits or speedbor bits.
Works great.

You have to be careful with hex dies as historically they weren't threading dies, just RE-THREADING dies for fixing messed up threads. The past few years I have seen many more hex dies that actually are bonaifde threading dies, but I have also seen some that aren't.I got this on EBay for 19.95 delivered but the guy doesn’t have anymore. Keep checking if you want one.

comes with everything, Taps, dies, 2 holders, drill bits.
Those look identical to the Bosch DareDevil bits. One of our guys has them. He ended up getting the Irwin SpeedBor set after using mine. Those work better than standard spade bits, and if space is an issue go for it. But the SpeedBo set is a lot faster.I’d like to try these out.

I don’t think my 12v angle drill would like those bits. I’m willing to try them and find out. Those look identical to the Bosch DareDevil bits. One of our guys has them. Nice thing about the SpeedBor is that having a round profile you can steer the bit or use a larger bit to enlarge a small hole. Drill a 5/8" hole by accident and need a 7/8"? Good luck using a spade bit.

My local hardware store had the three piece set on sale a few years back for something like 6$ with a coupon, only reason I tried them. I didn't think my 18v impact could handle them, but it was able to so I bought the large set. I tend to use them in my drill anyway. I don't think a 12v could but if it's geared down a touch maybe.I don’t think my 12v angle drill would like those bits. I’m willing to try them and find out.
I’ll let ya know.
I use or 3/4” bits for 1/2” CTS pipe and and 1” for 3/4” CTS pipe. Here's the 3 piece set for only 11$. The 3/4" and 1" bits are how they get you! They know you'll need 7/8" and 1-1/8".
