James, Since you are the tankless KING:thumbsup: What do you do when you present a tankless to a client that makes them buy? I am just looking to tips on how to better market my clients (in home) to go tankless.

I find it's 90% a waste of time if they don't display an immediate interest.
If you can't appeal to them with two facts, undless hot water and lower fuel bills, then the price is gonna have them dropping the phone.

The math is generally 30% of the hot water bill, which really amounts maybe $10 a month, or less in some cases.
Takes quite a long time to recoup the install costs vs a standard swap-out.

One major incentive in my state is that the gas co's offer a $300 rebate for installing them.

Apparantly you are installing a lot of these. Are you saying you're close ratio is 10%. If so that does not seem very high. So does this mean you are receiving an enormous number of tankless inquiries or is your close ratio actually higher? If you are receiving a large number of tankless inquiries, how are you generating those calls?
