What do you guys prefer on a multi-story new construction?

I like the Stack Vent pretty well. Just one pipe going out the roof.

One where possible. Just have to watch the maximum horizontal vent lengths from farther fixtures. Sometimes one is not practical even if it is within distance.

With so many vaulted ceilings in newer homes it is very difficult.

Our code required a vent stack for 4+ stories. It may be tied to the stack vent prior to VTR however.

Well, it used to anyway. I have to read the new code one day... ya... that's it. One day.

all depends on how many stories. there would be no place to use a vent stack economically unless you have to by code ( anything4+ here as well)
