Like softball teams, events etc ?

I know some of you work for large shops , I heard it can be a great way to "brand" yourself

Miss Beacon Plumbing, Unlimited Hydroplane. National Mens Softball team, Fight Night At least 4 times a year at the Casino and many other boxing realted events. Man you name it we sponser it. "Quit Freakin Call Beacon"

We are a small shop and we budget 2% of our gross to sponserships and donations each year. We try to spread it around to different groups but some we sponser almost every year. 2% = about 20k per/year

Ones for cars and ones for drunks thats all i can remember. either one will do in this case

I use to do a lot of donations at a local senior living community. We built a bathroom at the lawn bowling area and another one at the 9th hole of the golf course for those who needed restrooms close by.

I like to have a " Saint Judes Day " 3-4 times a year . I have the customers write their checks to St.Judes Children's Hospital . Then I put them all one of my envelopes and mail them .

Local softball team, several high school and middle school activities, but we really go all out for a local Relay for Life Walk for Cancer. We raffle of products and services for the cause plus a generous donation. It's been good for the moral at the shop to. Every one usually brings out the families, we stay up for 24hrs. participating in all kinds of events through the night it's a major team bldg excersize.

Thinking about the idea of sponsoring my own fishing team. Local stuff small tournaments. Although with the economy in the tank I may just have to practice for another the year.
