He should have read the fine print

One of our plumbers took his cordless sawzall in to be repaired and found out that since he was a plumber the warranty was voided. :censored:

I bet they exclude commercial use. i would atleast get my money for the warranty back...after all they should have ever sold it to you and its of no use to you. I'd pitch a *****...they would know I had been there for sure. You need me to call them for you, just give me the info and i'll be glad to call and talk to them for you. I would get a new saw or my money back for the warranty or they would be in court.....just for the principle of it.

I've returned and had fixed 2 hammerdrills 1 sawzall 1 single charger and at least 10 batteries and never had a problem. 1 battery I found on the side of the road and was all beat to heck and they changed it for me.

I have taken my sawsall in for repair under the lifetime warranty, and there was no problems getting it fixed.

The whole thing does not make a lot of sense. By that argument, how about Ridgid's drain cleaning machines and inspection equipment? Surely they don't sell a lot of that to homeowners. I have a feeling that you are getting screwed by the distributor.

It seems like every time a great tool name sells out to "the man" later down the road they turn to crap.

The funny part is ridgid tools are expensive only plumbers and contractors can afford them. And they void warrantee if your a plumber. They have some nerve
