Ridgid Jetter hose?

699 Views 5 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  TerryTotoSucks
Gents,

I am having to cut back my 3/8 Ridgid jetter hose but its easier said than done. For some reason Ridgid makes the KJ3100 with a 3/8 hose but with a 1/4 mip on the end (I'm guessing for the 5.5gpms). So all my nozzles for it are 1/4.
I am having a hard time sourcing the 3/8 crimp X 1/4 mip fitting. Ridgid has told me to buy a new hose and that is no joke over $2000 cad. I realize I can put a 3/8 mip fitting on and use a nipple and coupling but then I have to use a nipple and coupling...

Does anyone know who makes ridgid jetter hoses and fittings for their jetter hoses?

Thanks all

just buy a new 1/4" hose I wouldnt worry about the pressure drop as its a lower gpm machine. just get a 200 ft 1/4" hose and save the rest of your old hose and use it as a hose to run from machine to work area if needed

Call Jetter depot and ask for Kim. She might know who makes the hose and may be able to get you the ends.

Go to a hydraulic shop and it's 3/8 thermoplastic end. Nothing fancy or special about it.

Wont going down to a 1/4 hose effect the GPMS though?

By dropping the size of the hose and extending its length, you will most definitely lose pressure and volume.

No doubt about it.
