I did house plumbing briefly back in the 80’s, including being on a slab only crew. My boss would walk on my pipes in the ditch and check every pipe for slope. ANY flex was not acceptable. He would smoke weed/ drink 12+ beers a day on the job but he taught me well.

I was about taught the same way, but man did they know their sh!t. I sent the OP in the right direction that should net him some responisve results from the plumber and GC. I cant stand that kind of game and come across it all the time.

Foam core was not allowed under a slab, ALL writing on the pipe had to be face up/ at the top and he would walk foot by foot on top of the pipe, no flex tolerated. And he would drink a beer while walking on my pipe.

i was a hand for one for a while, Bo was his name. And ol' Bo had to smoke him a bowl every morning when he got out the truck through a brass wing ell with tinfoil over the iron pipe side for a screen. And then he did his job. He knew his sh!t when it came to piping sanitary systems from scratch. Damn shame how he died at 55 yrs old. Heart attack, in a bathtub he had just set on a remodel while the helper was in the truck waiting on him to come down to go get parts.

Several had no driver's license so I got stuck chauffeuring them to the job and back. Late in the week running out of pot and they would start scraping the resin in their pipe. GOD AWFUL smell and they would be completely stoned after smoking the resin in their pipe.

I don’t get how some ppl can’t function without smoking pot everyday.

It's called addiction.
I knew a guy years ago who went through law school and became a lawyer. He smoked pot all the time. Every day while in school he smoked. We all played on a men's soccer team. I was 18 and he was around 30 at the time. Big dope and cigarette smoker. And another man was in medical school {probably an MD now} and he too was a big dope head.
Drugs are the scourge of our society.

I lost my taste for the stuff around 19yrs old. I figure i did enough in highschool to last a lifetime. And with what is grown today, i'd be scared to death to smoke it. I could see my self holding on to the grass on my lawn to keep from falling off the earth.

We used to call resin Acapulco Black. Never at work though

I have other plans to soothe my mind, in April I'll be able to take the car out again. I'm going to burn gas instead and I'm going to wear out another set of tires! There's one goal that keeps me going and endure this circus. After that I have an Idea to open another company, and if it works I'll quit plumbing.

I got a new phone last fall and I was shocked I couldn't save or transfer my blocked list. I also learned there's a 1000 limit to the number of blocked caller and I was getting pretty close to it.

I blocked a bazaar durka yesterday for a water heater, I told him I'm not available till late March and he wanted a quote anyway so I told him quotes are $300 and he wanted an appointment. You may ask why he'd want an appointment, that's their sly game they'll argue that's the price for the entire job, $300.

If you make them pay $300 for a quote for $1500 they will say okay and you do the job. You hand them the bill of $1650(example with taxes) they will turn into devils stating you just cheated them the price was $300. The $1500 quote doesn't exist. They will even sign the contract and say you are lying.

I've been victim of their crap and bad reviews so many times I try to run with every tactic I have without getting bad reviews. Just by answering the phone they want to leave a bad review.

It’s seems very much like there is books and classes for Durkas to come to Canada and take full advantage of our systems and laws.

There are so many street corners and highway off rams now where there are durkas begging for Change. They are always very well dressed and have cel phones, their cardboard signs always say:
“please helping, me have no moneys, I homeless with 3 kids, me hungry- please so much god bless”

At the end of the day you see them getting into a high end SUV and drive away.
