I am remodeling a kitchen and when I tore out one of the cabinets this valve was behind it. Don't know what it is or for. I loosened what looks to be a bleeder screw on the top and some water came out the weep holes so It must be in use. There is under floor heating but this valve never gets hot when the floor is warm. There are hot water registers in the rest of the house. I would like to remove this valve if at all possible
