Hi, From North shore of long Island. Father and I owned a cesspool company for him 35 years, me 12. Started with installations, then servicing, than became the best duo on the north shore for locating, video inspection, and jetting. Father fell ill with alzheimers. Sold buisness became a heavy equipmrnt operator. Lost eye on the job in an accident. Now looking to get back into the drain cleaning, sewer inspection, and locating business minus the hassle of cesspool service and pumping. Our Truck was in the movie Meet the Parents when the septic system backed up. (Sky blue truck) ~Doug

Glad to have you! That's pretty cool about the movie cameo!

The only thing that bothers me more than people calling closed pits or tanks "cess pools" is when people use the term "french drain". "Pools" are open bodies of liquid. And there's nothing french about a trench filled with stone.
