Just curious. I was in a restaurant the other day and looked under the bathroom sink (like always). Each sink was supplied with tempered water only with an angle stop at the wall.

In IL we are required to supply hot and cold water or tempered and cold water. How do other codes interpret this.

i usually get approval from the architect, and inspector. i like to do a hot and cold and install under sink tempering valves. if there are only a couple of sinks. more than 4 sinks i do 1 cold, 1 tempered, w/ a convential temp valve.
