Going on my own
My sons and I are starting a small drain service company. We have T-3 50' x 1/2" cable machine, kj1750 jetter, 25'x1/4" drill machine, cheapo camera with sonde (no wand yet) closet augers, bladders etc. We plan on renting bigger cable machine when needed until we can buy our own. Same with the jetter, rent when a bigger one is needed. Any advice or suggestions for a new business owner are welcome and appreciated. Thanks.

if you are actually in legit business I suggest you get a Free Google Map listing for your business and
also get a Free web page on Yelp... both of them will help you bee seen by anyone within 30 miles of you

Best of luck to you. Stay away from Angie, yelp paid ads and home warranty companies. Register as many business profiles as you can on line. Make sure every time you're listing your phone number you list it the exact same way. Pick (xxx)xxx-xxxx or xxx-xxx-xxxx and stick with it. This will make your listings look more legitimate to Google and help push your map listing towards the top. Ask every customer for a Google review you can and send links through text to make it easier for them so they're more likely to do it. Get a used main line machine that you're comfortable with soon as possible.
Maybe start your own cooking show too.
