I bet it's no worse than it has always been.. alot of building in NY are old and have lead water mains. nothing new. I bet someone is making a stink to try and get the lead ban going like in California. someone is making money.. they should make sure they test the levels in the water at newer buildings. I bet the levels are just fine.

My house has 50/50 solder joints. I have tested for lead several times. Not once has any ever shown up in the test........
