I have not posted on here in a few months, been terribly busy and just can't catch up. I lurk on here occasionally and when I see something unique I try and post a pic. It is cast bronze handle shaped like dog. Customer claims it has been there for the 40 years he has lived there. Never seen one in my 35 years of plumbing. Handle loosened up and threads are wore out in body of hose bibb and stem .I replaced withe freezeless faucet and he gave me this one to keep . Looks like it was cast over existing handle as it cannot be removed.

I had a lady with a bird she wanted installed, she didn’t mention it until after I installed the silcock. It wasn’t going to work with the vacuum breaker on top and the angle of the handle. Very cool stuff though, I love seeing it. Now that I think of it, I’m pretty sure I remember seeing some brass ducks for handles on a couple of basement hose bibbs. I’m going to have to start taking pictures to add to the collection here.

Right. I have a Squirrel. These became really popular in the 50's. There are like 3 common brands of these being made now. The best ones are roughly 75$ and are made by some antique/heritage brand. They really are worth 75$ for how quality they are made.
