If your serious about SEO your going to pay much more than what elocal charges..

We tried e-local, you pay and they put up a listing and then you continue to pay. We canceled. My thought is if im going to pay you every month you should be improving on your service every month.

IM not using it. I just said they called. Consider the OP as a warning. I am my own SEO. And, I do pretty well.

Kind of ironic this SEO stuff...
You can't say it wasn't offered...
Some drank from the cup of knowledge and others smashed the cup...
Having a good quality website that comes in good on search results will get you work far cheaper than any other form of advertising.

The day is coming when yellow page advertising becomes a thing of the past.
In the old days when Ma Bell was the only player in town the ads were more effective. I can't tell you how many different yellow page directories are out there. All I know is about once a month I find a new one laying on the door steps or, tossed in the driveway...

I recycle most of them...
How many should I keep around the house anyway?

Is it really effective to pay the large sums of cash these yellow book publishers are demanding when their advertising is that diluted?
Look at what happened to Beacon Plumbing...

Yea, Yellow Pages and Super Pages can promote you on the internet and they do a fair job of SEO often getting however many plumbers they have listed in the area a shared spot on page one of the search engine. Still it's pretty lame getting listed on super pages with 152 others, and having 14 others pay extra to be on top of those who don't, or, have listings for plumbers pimps come in on top of your ad. Sheesh

How many of these low return shakedowns do you want to participate in?:whistling2:

Plain and simple the wave of the future is a good website that comes up good in search engine results. Some of us figured the advice we were offered was wise and went with it. Others have sites that look like they were designed by a sixth grader and the only way you could ever get to the site is by typing in the URL directly.

Rockstar is right! Seminole Plumbing has somebody taking care of it's SEO and that's what you get when you drink from the cup of knowledge.

That is low cost, effective advertising if you ask me...

What I wanna know is how one member here has 4 separate listings on Google's 1st 10 results....
He obviously chugged the first couple of cups and went back for more...

$35 a month well spent!

Thanks Joe is Right!
