Do you allow these on the jobsite? I've had to make my guys leave them in the truck because every time I turned around, they were texting or something stupid.

We are pretty much required to have them on the job site. My boss has been annoyed at me more times for not having my phone on me then he has for using it for personal reasons. Texting and personal phone calls are pretty much tolerated so long as it is reasonable, I haven't heard anything about it yet.

We do not have company phones.

I won't go there.

Our policy, No personal cell phones. No personal calls unless an emergency (we are lax on this part, as long as it doesn't add up to more than 15 mins a day during work hours and zero after work.)

Personal texting is considered an abuse of company assets, as we provide the phones.

My policy is pretty much a carbon copy of this. I provide phones for work only, any personal calls are to be made from a personal phone, and on employee time not co. time.
