 Is this your new Toyota? How is that recognition?
Are you going to put your business name on it as some point?

The people, the cars, the common thread of "what you drive" is what I just brought to the equation that now matches a lot of my clientell. Is this your new Toyota? How is that recognition?

I'm from Detroit, thanks for buying a toyota.
"WTF is he taking a video of out there? Don't worry honey, thats just how he is. We aren't paying him for that **** are we?"
I don't hate because you buy rice burners. The people, the cars, the common thread of "what you drive" is what I just brought to the equation that now matches a lot of my clientell.
Of course...that truck will transform over time...
No problem, I put my 20+ years in driving chevy and ford products, still own 2 big trucks.
But since these small 3 now like to suck off the guys who have a job in the aftermarket biz that these trucks constantly have you working on them,
it's time for me not to participate in that gay parade ever again.
Detroit is going down by their own doings. People are getting smart about their financial purchases.
I don't hate because you buy rice burners.
I would like to point out that it was Detroit that help make this county THE world power, it was Detroit that drove up everyones wages including plumbers, it was Detroit that built tanks to win the 1st and 2nd World War (Pearl Hrbor ring a bell?) If I'm not mistaken folks from KY came up here in droves to work for the BIG three 'bout 40 years back.
Like I said, buy what you think is right for you, but up here those vehicles are still foreign and I felt I should represent my Dad and motown.
If they only knew.
I rock a GMC 3500 for work, and Honda Pilot for pleasure. Sorry detroit, but I love the Honda.
If Zenith made computers you better believe I would buy one.I didn't buy a toyota to hear the history lessons, don't need them. Admirable to stick up for family but I roll by my own set of rules, always.
This is why I'm going to expect you to call out and recite your words every time someone else here has a foreign vehicle you think should be the norm for the american way.
Is that a deal? Americans are building these foreign vehicles right here in the United States. Ask yourself what those americans did when they closed the transmission plants in Norwood years back, how much that hurt the economy.
Do you realize you're communicating with me through 2 foreign computers?
Pick your battles.
Actually, ANYONE can own stock in Toyota, not just japs. It is a publicly traded company. Lots of Americans own the company too. Its a global market now. You can buy some stock tomorrow if you want. Honda too.:thumbup:If Zenith made computers you better believe I would buy one.
I had to recite my words only because I saw $100,000 in toyotas on your post. It appeared you made the toyota a point.
I don't want you to feel guilty for your choice in vehicle, just thought maybe you hadn't considered some facts.
As for your plant closing, it's was probably nessesary to compete with foreign autos being built by cheap labor and unfair trade.
I am aware of Japanise companies assembling cars here, but the end dollar goes overseas.
You may roll by your own set of rules thats sweet, but your also rolling in a vehicle that finances a country that wants us, the U.S., to go down.
Hond Pilot or Chevy Camaro? whatever floats your ballcock.I rock a GMC 3500 for work, and Honda Pilot for pleasure. Sorry detroit, but I love the Honda.
