That's the code where I am, abs drain lines here in southern California.
I'm assuming you guys use pvc in your neck of the woods?

Definitely not job security, lol there's enough old houses where I'm from to stay busy I always do right by my customers 👍👌🚿🚿🚽🛁🧻

Burying garbage isn't doing right by your customers.

it is code over here, that is what is put in all the homes where I'm from all the way to the city sewer. All the new construction, all the repairs are in abs. That's what is used in los Angeles county, san Bernardino county, and orange county. And probably san Diego county but I haven't done much work down there so I wouldn't say for sure. The only place I've heard of pvc drain lines is out in the palm springs area.
