Default Ideas to keep the phone ringing.

Tried a local paper ,advertising, got my return, and still in there.passed out 10 000 flyers, got one job, paid itself off.Word of mouth works, but takes time.I,ll be going in the yellow pages next week. Not consistent on working hours.Still early in the business, looking for as many ideas as possible to boost up the business.

Where are you located? Big city / rural? What is your specialty?

Answer the above and I have some suggestions for you.

There is no silver bullet. You have to do a number of things especially if your just starting out and need to build a customer base.

Get in with your local chamber of commerce. Go to network parties. Help out in your communty for free. Do great work and keep it clean. Use classified ads, yellow page ads and maps.google.com. Blog and write articles for your local paper. Get on the radio and offer tips for home owners. Stand on your head til your ears turn red.

Im thinking about hiring one of these guys for downtown for a couple of weeks. You all our welcome, I normally dont put all my business ideas out in public view, but, I feel i owe a couple every now and then based on my so called "rude" attitude.

I don't get it?

Ok, I got it. I cut back 2 trucks now it's hard to stay on top of calls like I was used to..

That would be a way to get the phone to ring..
