Default Exciting day tomorrow.

I shxt canned the radio ad back in july and have been pooling that extra cash into signs for the truck (partial wrap).

I don't plan to stay in the truck forever but it will definitely help visibility a lot more than the radio was doing. The magnets I had were junk and barely met the minimum requirements for signs in California.

Heading out of town tomorrow to get them installed.

Don't be surprised if there aren't any pictures. I'm kind of a private person.

I think I traumatized you about posting pictures.

My vista print magnet lasted about 3 months before they's fall off. Dirt and rain would get behind them so I put a silicone bead just on the top and they held up a year. I'll be removing them to put on the new van.

I'll do a larger sign eventually but not a wrap.

I just had the doors of my cube lettered, I think it cost me a couple hundred. I’d have my back door lettered if it was in better condition.

Read the fine print on those magnets.

They want you to remove them weekly and wash the back of them. When I went to pull mine off the adhesive from the actual sign had somehow bled through the magnetic part and it was stuck.

I was out there for 2 hours scraping that shxt off with wd40 and a credit card.

We surely don't have the same product, the colored part is plastic and the magnet is a magnet. I haven't had any bleeding issue.

I had magnetic signs made from a local print shop over 20 years ago and they are still in one piece, I dont use them anymore but they were in service for a good 15 years...

Sounds just like mine, and I got them from Vista Print. Maybe they changed to a cheaper version after you got yours.

We had vinyl decals made online that we put on the new trucks - it's a few hundred dollars and you can't tell they were DIY.

Make sure they use CAST vinyl not CALENDERED. Just like a calender, calendered vinyl is rolled out from a smaller, thicker, piece. Over time it will shrink back to its original shape and curl up at the edges. Cast vinyl is made in that size to begin with so it won't shrink and crack.

Make sure the vinyl is 3M brand.

If you want multiple colors either get multiple layers of colored vinyl or use EDGE printing. Do not get a digital print. The digital print ink will breakdown after a number of years.
