Done to death?...well, I am not like the others. I did some bio thing on another page here....somewhere. ..Plumbing intermittently all my life, but recently got the coveted license...journeyman for now....bigger later. Formally plumbing for the last several years while working on the license. Went through all the ranks....watcher, helper, apprentice & school....now here for now until the master's test rears it's head. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I have an established sole proprietorship that is 4 years old now....I did that while completing the license.

Not transgendered, but could play one on tv....not into taking man **** either, so if you have a bug up your ass to be disrespectful, I'd suggest a wide side step. I wasn't handed that license, and managed to get here in spite of some very high pressure from men to fail. All in all....it's far more difficult to get this far as a female....you guys out there can be a pain in the ass.....so let's all get long and play nice. You don't disrespect me, and I won't point out your inability to get through a day without thinking about your penis every nine seconds. K?
Also, pics won't impress you....am middle aged, live in my steel toes, jeans and ball caps....sorry. No crack to show.

Welcome to the zone.

As for the vetting process, you might like to know that all new members are treated equally as rough, especially when they don't bother to state how they are a plumbing professional. Many a DIY have tried, using the same vague intro.

no....dad was a farmer. We fixed things...pumps, tractors, trucks, fences, everything. I started young with tools, had a knack. i had no/zero help from him in any other way. Left home early, went to college....worked for others....hated it.
Made my own way, built my own thing. Live my own sweet life surrounded by tools and pets. Oh, and an 18year old with no gumption at all. Go figure....I tried....it's just not there with him....I mean he would LIKE to learn plumbing, but it ain't happening...some just don't have it I guess.

oh yes....there was an informal "watcher" stage.....sort of like a ride along with the police....a few months of tagging along to see what it was all about....I think the guy letting me do it was amused....little did he know, it stuck.
