Let's see...... Redwood? I miss the union plumber from the Chicago area. And the jetting contractor from the New York area. I met him in Alpharetta for a beer a few years ago when he was down here picking up his US Jetter purchase.

I belong to several forums and it just seems over time people get busy with life and move along, die off, get butt hurt and go away, lose interest, the list of reasons goes on and on...

I dont think the regulars get butt hurt that much, but you get a bunch of 1 post wonders that just want a fast answer to a question and they are gone, and when they get called out for it they get offended that everyone doesnt cater to their request....
sorta like calling a random doctor for free and expecting a whole diagnosis for free with no commitment....

I used to hang out on a 4x4 site then after 15 years of roading with novices and beginners and always having to drive far for trails I got tired sold my trail truck and all extra parts.

Then I was on a music forum, one by one friends left and so did I. Now I'm here...

Passwordgate didn’t help either. I know when I first joined I’d klick new posts and there would be a page and a half of posts. Now 3-12 new posts max per day.

Not to mention new tradesmen not entertaining, longer days for the rest of us. There are days I come home tired. Read up and I’m just done for the night.
