Hi all

I have seen this site several times before and decided it was finally time to join. Here is some more about me, I live in Florida and currently in my first year of an apprenticeship for a commercial plumbing company. Long term wise I want to start my own company doing plumbing service work. I joined this site to learn more about what I am doing and the plumbing trade.

Just some helpful info Daniel, once you know what you're doing remember that you've hardly seen anything and when you do start you're own business, my best advice is to be friendly with a good Master that will guide you in that aspect of our trade. A good Master is a good friend.

Welcome! Glad to meet you!

Hail your way.

Best of luck. Give a lot of thought about owning a business. It is not for everyone.

A one man shop is OK, until you may get sick or hurt. You need a good second man. Paperwork, orders, taxes, stock, etc. A lot to do. I have known both ways. I tend to find newer people in the trade think it is great to be the boss, not always the case.

Thanks great advice. I am just trying to learn everything I can right now, and ask questions when I don't get something.
