Default many years

Hi All .
I come from Jersey in the channels islands part of the UK.
Started off at 15 in 1956 had to do 5years as a apprentice, in these days when you reached your 5 years you had to leave .To find your way in the world.
All galv and black iron with solid hand dies. All supples with in 5 miles of the workshop was done on a handcart, by the lad me.
Set up on own at 23 ( NO exams to become plumber or master) we done everything from new work large and small ( not U.S. Large)everything that was needed a modern house.
Enjoyed every moment till I was 50ish, collecting money was getting worse, people wanted cheap jobs instead of good jobs then complained that it is not what they wanted.
Just had enough ,closed the firm down came live in Spain, and retired.

Just had to but a water main into the house, the man who built it had but a 1/2 water main for 4 baths and some rubbish plastic I had never before.

The reason I have looked on the site is see if the problems are the same world wide , the few good clients make it worth while than dealing with cheap skates.
