We've all heard of the huge gas explosion up in Mass.

Even though Greg is new and hasn't posted an intro, instead of closing or trashing this thread I'm leaving it open in case some members here want to sign up.

If I was in my 20s I would probably consider it.....

overpressurized mains I bet they are going to basically change out
every gas line in the whole area to high pressure...

Did anyone hear if that accident was caused by human error or was
this just some pressure valve going bad in the lines????

..

lots and lots of digging.....
sounds like a fun time......

I would assume they would be going to HDPE piping. We did a lot of that when i was in the field back in early 2000. Wasn't bad they would either use the tunneling machine and we would fuse the connections or they would dig the trenches for us and we would go and fuse in the trench.

What's the scoop up there plumbdrum, is there one outfit in charge of organizing and hiring plumbers/gas fitters or would a guy be wasting his time checking into it?

I've got a temp on my crew from TI. He looked into it and says it's totally legit. He's been with them for 18 years.
