How would get access to a backwater valve if you buried it outside ... Your in TO .. So I am sure the sewer is at least 4 ft deep

Outside we install so called "adapt -a- valve". Same backwater valve, just little different. It has a removable gate assembly. A long plastic pipe is attached to it and comes all the way up to ground surface, inside a vertical 6" diameter access pipe. So gate assembly can be easily removed for inspection/cleaning. I have recently done pipe rehabilitation and sewer pipe repair with no dig technology with the help of pipesolutions.com, I am really happy with their services.
