Exclamation New us tariffs

Hey Tango and everybody in Canada how do you think this will affect your
buying of tools and what not from U.S. after what your Prime Minister said
about reciprocal Tariffs in Canada ?

If steel prices go way up then guess what consumers will buy less from the states. We buy a lot of stuff from down south. Most people will look towards chinese goods. I'd be looking at the steel dragon drain machines instead. If we have to pay a lot more for steel cars, we won't buy them If we buy less then will the factories down south have less steel to sell to?

Like rules says Canada can retaliate in equal dollars. Most of New York state and surroundings are dependent from us with electricity. We supply alot of oil and natural gas, We supply a lot of wood.

Potassium chloride is found in potash, which is used to make the world’s fertilizers. Saskatchewan is the second largest producer of potash in the world....They can charge more on those too. You'll pay more for food...

And lastly you want maple syrup, you can have it at 89 dollars a ounce.

Seriously I don't know what's going to happen other than people being angry and boycott your products?

It boils down to the little guy at the bottom of the ladder like me. It's already real expensive for me to buy tools from the US and such that means I will buy even less and look elsewhere or make my own clog dog and save thousands?

But it is a tariff on imports. American products go up secondarily to chinese. Chinese product $1, a tariff of 20% = $1.20. American product 1.3 goes up 10% = $1.43. Closes the gap while everyone moves foward.

That’s what I gather.

Easy answers to highly complex questions.

Wish it were all that simple. It's not.

Spend a month reviewing independent data and I'll listen.

I remember what Ross Perot said back when he was attempting to run for president....I think around 95.. you would hear a giant sucking sound which was the sound of all our jobs being sucked out of the country..
if NAFTA were ratified......

but the Clintons got their way

Perot was the first presidential candidate I was able to vote for.

I’m not sure if I voted right. Taking away a vote from one of the two powerhouses and just choosing the lesser of two weevils.
