Had a finish on two full baths today. Got there, no stools or lav faucets. A call was made. If they didn't arrive by the time I got done with the tubs I was going jet.

Shut water down. We had ordered pex and compression stops. Supply house gave us sweat. Thankfully the job is four doors down from the shop.

Faucets and stools arrived. Shower is brushed nickel, lav faucets were oil rubbed bronze.

Got the stools set, brushed nickel faucets arrived.

Took three dang hours!

Even worse, not unplugging a single plug grinder pump.

Yup. Thursday dropped my helper off to make a few pex tie ins and water test a upstairs apartment remodel. I had shut off an old globe valve and installed a C x MIP adapter. Capped and tested. Well, that was the Swan song for the bib washer. He isn't experienced enough to realize pressure on a threaded connection. Put 1" of water on the floor in the time it took to get the only occupied unit open to shut the building down. Swapped the valve and cleaned the mess. Thank goodness the occupied unit wasn't bad. All the water was on the demo side. As he finished up, I left. He ran home to change clothes and I headed to a 1.5 million home to start setting fixtures. Started installing stops....... and found a closet supply not hooked up. This house is done. Even the closets have 10" crown and baseboard. It's hydronic slab, and there's a sillcock not 2' away on the main floor. Went back to my rough in pics, and located the sillcock. One joist space over. I'm just sick at this point.... I get pulled from job to job a lot, but I always walk through many times to check hot connections, especially this one. The hot lines were a home run loop, and my helper didn't really understand it. It's an easy fix, but I totally screwed up not catching this. Anyway, that was Thursday/Friday. I just got back home today from the hospital. 7mm kidney stone blocking my right kidney, and a 4mm stuck between my bladder and pecker, right where it is surrounded by my prostate. They ran through my pecker with the stone busting laser, getting both stones and a few small ones. This was my first dealings with kidney stones.
It's been a crappy 5 days.

Well, I can top it. I'm back in the hospital scheduled for another procedure. The busted up stone went a bit downstream and packed back off again, like a sludged up sewer.
