Default What Keeps You Coming Back To PlumbingZone.com?

Can you tell me what keeps you coming back to PlumbingZone.com? Is it that you have ongoing projects? Is it friendships you have developed here or that you like helping others with their work challenges? Something else altogether?

Is it my sunny disposition?

What made you come back after you visited the first time?

I lurked for over a year or 2 soaking all the knowledge from business operators in the old posts. Once I opened my doors I needed some guidance and received many great tips.

To this day I receive help. Since I have no contact with any plumbers or any plumbing company in my area it's a great place to exchange ideas.

I also learned what others use in equipment and techniques compared to bad practices and methods with cheap or inadequate equipment that local companies use.

Plus who can resist Master Mark's stories and comments!

The love of my profession. For example: hearing what my colleagues have to say, learning from my colleagues, helping newbees to this trade, hearing the ins and outs of others who operate a plumbing business and hearing about {or seeing pictures} the horror stories.

hmmm, there are a multitude of reasons, many already listed above...lets not forget the blue collar humor...im a member to many forums of many different subjects, having different people to kick around ideas and problems you learn from, also the differences in region play a big part on how things are done and what similar materials are named..
and lets not forget the making fun of others..if you cant laugh either at yourself or others then what a boring life it would be..
along with sharing side interests we all have...im sure theres lots more to list...

I can’t disagree with any of the above.

So here’s a recap. Plumbing and drain cleaning for me is as much of a hobby as it is a career. It’s a trade where you can never say you’ve seen it all! There’s no end to learning and diagnosing new. PZ is a great platform for not only sharing information and experiences but also learn about what you haven’t encountered yet.

The humor is a big reason too. Like SRDH mentioned, seems like we have the same philosophy in that aspect.

Membership is also another reason. I have phone numbers in my phone along with some email addresses of members here who I consider friends.

I haven’t been on here in a long time. I know the site traded hands a while back, don’t know if any of the old school is still around from 08-09. I posted a general question to see what the rest of you ****** think about mega press. Lol
