I got a report on this post. I will not say who or why. Some of us mourn in our own way. I had to take 6 people out of this world. It was up to me to decide the day date and time they died. It's not easy. Yall celebrate new years, I mourn. It was the day my eldest son was born. I had to decide when he left. I was told 12 months is too long to mourn, but it's been years that I still mourn. This post will not be closed, and I will allow mourning for as long as it takes.

sorry to hear that. We all mourn and I don't think we ever get over it totally. A smell or a phrase or a date will bring back flashes of the past good or bad. I think we are reminded of our loved ones that way. That's what keeps us going sometimes, and sorrow of a time gone. I know it's tuff but until the day we are united again we must make a difference in the lives of the younger generation. Hang in there.

Everything the new year rolls round, I think about son. Lying there
What if he could hear and comprehend, what if my wife decided to go to the cafeteria and have a cup of coffee. Ma be that would have been just enough time for him to come out of the coma. What if he could hear me tell the doctor to pull the plug and he is asking himse why are you doing this to me. Been 2 years and it kills kills me. I feel like an ass. It hurts bad. I have not been right in the head since. That's why I don't get on here much any more. I can't take it. I am an emotional wreck. I never will be right again. I understand some mourn longer than others. God forbid, my wife and i have been together since we were 10, we both are 55. Something happens to her I wil lose it totally

Sometimes I wish I can help others, do something for them. Sometimes I wish I have words to make them feel better and yet I don't know what to say. I'm sure you son knows you are a great Dad. No one is born with a manual on what to do in cases we need to make hard decisions. I'm very sorry for your lost and wish you feel better and just feel happy when you think of the good memories with your family!

Bill, can't imagine your hurt. Hopefully it will not hurt as bad as time goes by.

If I may, don't beat yourself up. Hindsight is 20/20 as they say. I would hope the ones we loose would understand things like this are the best and honest decision a person may make at that time. That doesn't make it easier.

Keep the good thoughts and times in your mind, is all you can do.
