I went to a Tool concert 2 weeks ago and the 'no cell phones or cameras allowed' signs and reminders were everywhere and I mean everywhere.

Before the last song the lead singer said it's ok to video and phones went up everywhere.
Nice I saw Tool, then Perfect Circle in 2017.. same rules here

I haven't been to many concerts in the last 20 years. It seems to me that when cell phones first came out they were all concerned with banning them. That was about the same time that I stopped going, but it seems to me since I started going again in the last 5 years or so that they have given up the ban as being impossible to enforce, and they are now even more common than lighters. I don't remember seeing a single sign in any concert in recent memory.

No cell phone issues at an Iron Maiden concert last summer. Another I've been to many times.
