Donít give that BS line about ďin a few yearsĒ! Youíre just like my Master! An A-hole! Youíll never retire... Iíve known my Master for probably close to ten years now and back then he said he was going to retire in 5 years. Iíll give you his number, call him up and ask him when heís going to retire. $5 says heíll say in five years!

Seriously though, I miss the mountains back home, at least what it was like. Last time I visited New England I was appalled by all the new developments being built on all the mountain sides when I last visited in 2012. At least in NW Connecticut and SW Massachusetts.

The best I can do in Michigan is some place up north...

LOL..I have cut way back on work and cherry pick what jobs I do, as I said many times I enjoy the plumbing trade, retirement or work is what you make of it...
I dont think I will ever stop doing some sort of plumbing work as long as I like todo it, but it wont be back breaking work...
small repairs and stuff like that, for several reasons...
I am a big believer that your body follows your mind and your mind follows your body..if you stop working or doing anything your body and mind also stop and in a short time they both break down and you die..
also work brings you socially in contact with different people and that too is important for a long life span..
so when I say retire it means I no longer need to work for money and any work ( I will still charge, nothings for free) but it will be more of a want than a need...
your master sounds like he has his share of physical ailments that affect his daily life and that is no good either, he should slow down and take care of his body before one day its too late...
but as of now I probably spend 40% of my time in the country and i have a ton of projects and just normal maintenance of the property..I think I have for now a balance where I look forward to both sides of my life...
I know many people that retired and they have run out of stuff todo or anything to rest up from, and I can see the toll that is taking on them.they say before they retired they will play alot of golf, but after a year of playing all the time their is nothing to look forward to and you get bored real quick doing the same thing everyday...

Iíve seen plenty of oversized systems and nothing like that has happened. We donít have much humidity here though.

Probably no exhaust fan in that bathroom and the window is never open. Cold air condensing shower steam quickly and a/c doesnít run long enough to dehumidify due to oversized.
