I call it a hot water heater because that's what I grew up knowing it as. It's a heater that makes hot water as opposed to a boiler that has boiler water. It's not a heater that heats hot water it's a heater that is connected to the hot water line.

Like a cold water chiller unit is fed from the domestic cold line from the town main making it a cold water chiller as opposed to the chiller on the raw well line which is a raw water chiller. But that example may be a little far out for most of you guys. We have some interesting setups in some of these larger houses.

It's kind of like where you put the comma in "Eats shoots and leaves" or maybe leave it out all together.

And by the way, it is common in some places to heat hot water to make it even hotter which would make the second heater a hot water heater.

Are service guys did a massive boiler replacement at a hotel a few years ago. The lead plumber handling the job was let go and someone else took over. When all was said and done, the new boilers were not producing the way they should have. They finally realized there was a line capped off in another room. It was a pre-heated line that came from a tempering tank on another floor. This took care of the problem.

Quit being stubborn; to those that are. 'Hot water heater' is an expensive ad word on Google. Think about it.

You mean it generates revenue for you or it costs you a lot of money to add that keyword in your campaign?

Homeowners think 'hot water heater', therefore a legit google ad word. When a homeowner types in 'hot water heater' where will your company show up? Mine will be front page.
