Finally got a deal on this baby. Never had a nice car in my life. Wife is happy and now we have room for kids. It's what I asked God for before I got a plumbing license. God please give me the ability to get married and support my family. Amen. I feel blessed. The guy I used to work for calls me up sometimes to shoot the breeze and I'm happy to say, we're doing great.

I was there to replace the main valve and this is what I found. That's a definite no touch-ey. Note the low submerged inlet tub. Tub drain and sink waste are most likely lead and both drain into the drum trap circa 1885!

Had a trap like the one in the first pic. Gave it to BFI in Hoffman Estates, they have it on display. Got it from a remodel in Wheaton, circa 1890.
