M&P Shield is a nice choice, I love mine. Sold my M&P9c for one. I'd have to ask a friend of mine (a 60+y/o toten'granny) about her back up. It's a .380, but can't remember which one.

Purse carry is risky business IMHO. Best is to carry on ones person. Many holsters are designed to hide well with most non-stretchy paints style. A lot of women prefer appendix carry.

Raven Concealment is my holster choice. The Vanguard 2 is great, but I prefer the phantom. To each his or her own. What works for me may not work for someone else.

I am however very anti Serpa.

Purse carry is a bad idea. Carry on your person or not at all.

Purses aren't hard to get separated from during a struggle. Just my two cents.

Every person is different, personally agree with @Flyout95. Carry in a purse (tactical or not) isn't an smart move IMO.
Do you guys carry loaded or unloaded? I do loaded

to carry an unloaded gun is stupid 150%.....loaded and ready to go ...as far as a purse..not the best idea, as the purse can get lost or stolen or easily seperated from the owner..they make all kinds of holsters for females to help carry on their person...
