Constantly. This is why I've started writing diatribes, long posts now. I was told I have a following, people that never post that are following recommendations, tips, interesting stories.

In the past 2 weeks I've landed a main drain call, sump pump replacement and a 3 handle to single handle faucet replacement.

Customers randomly find me on facebook, add me as a friend. Two police detectives I have as friends on there, they've referred me to others in the force.

I didn't start this thread if it didn't exist. The people I'm referencing, numerous ones apparently haven't utilized that option.... along with millions of others that I currently see conversating with people I have no clue who they are.

What cracks me up is when someone posts the instructions how to hide your posts and it doesn't work. I don't like the 'share everything' design.

The longer you are on facebook, the better it pays.

I was able to clinch 11 events for my fan/bench biz by looking at what others were discussing/liking, then following that to the fan/group page, getting in contact and WHAMO!

Facebook is a heavy integration of businesses... like 5000 businesses a day create a facebook fan page.

I'm now incorporating facebook into my other projects so the interaction is useful.
