That or testing the pump with water.... Hence the garden hose.

I'm sure it can be cleaned out... But why make it difficult?

Running water through it to show his prospects that it works. The inside metal components will be nice and rusty by the time it gets to its new home.

I thought about that too. I would rather spray fuel on the ground than run water through it. Or spray fuel into a bucket
