Default Newish toy.

My other bird is crippled right now. Built it from a kit, its been together for a few months now. Been getting it set up and learning my new transmitter. A lot to learn. Itching to get her in the air. Anyone else here into r/c?

One of my guys is into the 3d helicopters big time. Loves to show off at the shop flying upside down. Pretty cool stuff.

This is a plane I fly but that's not me, just a photo of the same plane. 100cc twin cylinder engine size (107" wingspan). I have a 150cc plane as well (124" wspan). As well as numerous smaller planes.

Make sure to keep him away from MzBiz's flowers. Inverted guys like to try to mow the lawn. I like killing bugs.

I built my 1st plane in '82. I still build but the almost ready to fly (ARF) big birds are hard to resist. And I don't fly much, maybe 5 or 6 times a year. Work of course always is more important but I coach my 11 yo son's baseball team spring, summer and fall and that eats up virtually every available afternoon.

Let me find a photo or 2 of planes I've built.

David

Last two weeks have sucked, bunch of rain, nothing but outside work waiting to be done.

Been getting reacquainted with my newish toy and trying to wrap my brain around the new open source transmitter. Think I've got the basics figured out, now i just need the weather to cooperate so I can fly her.

Made a short video of her slowly spooled up in my tinkering room, not the safest thing to do, oh well. You can hear the pitch changes as i am messing with it. Can't wait to hear her really beating the air into submission.
