Default My first tornado.

So I just now experienced being in my first tornado. Kind of scary the moment you realize that Oh Yeah, It's Phuckin Here Baby!! Damage that i can see isn't too bad, neighborhood full of knocked down trees, shingles, some plywood, fence planks, the typical sh!t thrown around. Neighbor across the street is completely blocked from using their front door.

Glad to hear you and yours are alright. Good luck with the cleanup.

Fortunately, my house didn't get it too bad from what I can see. I thought the roof got messed up when I was looking last night, but this morning I can see that it is just a section of someone else's roof up there. Mainly just the two trees in the front yard got messed up. Most of the rest of the neighborhood got messed up worse. I still have power while a lot of people don't. It's a 30 minute cluster phuck trying to get to the store that is only usually 2 minutes away. Neighbor behind me had windows broken out due to the pressure change, garage door messed up, tree sitting on their car.

Arm is fine, I've already gone back to work a little. I haven't worked since I pulled the stitches this past Thursday night though.

Funny thing is how the tree trimming companies were out like vultures this morning. One company quoted over $500 to trim two trees, and even then not much to trim, only 3 medium size branches. Guy right behind them said he will do it for $150 ... sold to the lowest bidder! I would cut the trees myself if I didn't have a semi-fresh injury, too much could possibly go wrong in that scenario.
