No wonder why you love ghost guns. Yikes that's a long wait and a lot of hoops to jump through.

Wow, "Good cause" statement and it can't only be self defense. That's kinda odd, why else would you want to carry? How about tell them you want to become a vigilante crime fighter. Show up to the interview in a costume, don't forget the cape. It's not self defense, it's defense of others.

Exactly! We (firearm coalition organizations) have a lawsuit that we won in certain counties that would make them "shall issue" which means "self defense" is sufficient. However, the attorney general filed an appeal so it's back in court. But basically if your an ordinary citizen you need to be a business owner or have proof of acting as cash handler for a business and make bank runs or have a police recorded threat to your life by someone who is not currently incarcerated .

I have a mutual friend who's sister was divorced 2 years ago from her alcoholic and verbally abusive husband (the guy is a real douche), there has been recorded prof of him stalking and a restraining order was filed last year, however, her CCW good cause statement of self defense was rejected because there's no record of physical violence or threat to her safety.

California is getting worse and worse. Read up on Sacramento mayor Gavin Newsomes recent war on gun owners. His proposed "gun safety" bill will require all ammunition purchasers to have a background check and a ammunition permit card, and 2) disallow all Internet and out of state ammunition purchases, 3) require all places that sell ammunition to be registered with the state 4) any person who sells ammunition at a business to be registered with the state and undergo training 5) require all +10 round magazines be turned in to law enforcement (even legally owned grandfathered +10 round magazines, 6) require all gun owners to carry firearm liability insurance 7) require ammunition purchasers to pay the 27 million dollars to cover the cost of implementing this program via high ammunition registration permits, high ammo taxes and a tax on top of said insurance policy requirements .....and this guy stands a very good chance of being the the next governor...there's our current situation in a nutshell.

Somehow my guns don't hurt anyone year after year, no matter where I buy my ammo or how many rounds the magazine/clip holds.

Wow I'm glad I don't live in California. Crazy rules you have to deal with.
