NO! You are confusing total sales with profits. If I made $10k in additional profit each month, I would gladly give you $2,000.00.

The national average for profit in plumbing is close to 5%. Let's say it's 10% for easy math. I would need to sell $100k to make an additional $10,000.00 in profit. That isn't happening. No way - no how.

Now of those 10,000 how many would actually live in the area that the plumber buying the advertising actually services?

Unless you hit up some of the big companies chances are you might be dealing with a company that services one county in the state of one city and surrounding towns....

If you really want to help a plumber and trust him (you must if you are willing to refer him), ask the plumbing company to pay you a referral fee.

All 10,000 employees are in the same county, and pretty much the same city. It's a large school district, the 10th largest in the country.
