I cannot stand telemarketers calling to speak with an owner about 'important personal business' and they don't even have a name. Asking to be put on their 'Do Not Call List' does not work.

What I have started to do is to put them in my cell phone and instead of putting in a name, it says Don't Answer. I love it. Phone rings and 'Don't Answer' pops up. I'm ready to start Don't Answer 3.

My phone lets me put in four different numbers for each entry. This is what I have so far:

lets get the whole forum together and keep calling the numbers repeatedly and ask if they need plumbing work done. someone hangs up and the next guy calls and so on.

I have an app on my blackberry that blocks calls I put in a blacklist, and it also looks at a database of numbers reported as telemarketers and blocks them as well.

I had a call just today. First time they called, no response from them when I said hello. Did a reverse lookup and it said some place in New York but was unlisted. The second time they called some hours later, I could not understand her forein accent so I told her when they find someone thats speaks English that maybe I will hear them out, to have a good day and hung up

When telemarketer pains in the a$$ call me, I say, "That sounds great, hey hold on a second." I put down phone and shortly thereafter, they have hung up. When they hear me say 'that sounds great' they must think I'm interested and that they have another sucker on the line. Little do they know they are the suckers!!!
