Default Quickbooks invoices

I bought a laptop several months ago, but still don't have it in service. One thing that is holding me up is the invoice (or lack thereof) in quickbooks.

I know there is a generic one, but I just can't seem to get it just the way I want.

To those of you that use it and actually give copies to customers, did you customize it in qb, or are there good templates out there somewhere?

We customize our QB invoice. You will need a file with your logo on it, so that QB can pick it up and put it in QB format. I don't have internet at the office but if you PM me your fax- I can fax you an example of one of our invoices.

I messed around with it a little more after I posted, I got something decent now, but when I try to print it doesn't print very well. I used text and data boxes, and it's not printing the lines straight.

Anyone else have issues with this? I printed some stuff from word to eliminate the printer as the problem and everything came out fine.

Christina - I don't have a dedicated fax line, I have to plug it in when I'm expecting a fax. We can coordinate that or if you can email it later that will be fine, I'm not in a huge hurry. Thanks
