Default Noone wanted to pay Holiday rates

Everyone passed on Holiday rates and would rather pay the normal Sunday service fee and come out on Sunday. What do they expect for calling plumbers on 4th of July.

The inspector for the town where I just installed a new sewer hook up wanted time and half minimum 2 hours to come out on the 3rd to inspect my line. I told him I can wait till Monday, just hope no one falls into the trench. I have the orange security fence all around it.

If the inspector is doing the inspection on his usual day off and the city office is closed, I understand his request. Otherwise he can't demand time and one half for doing his job on a regular work day.

Was the City Offices open for business on July 3rd?
