I am now an active member of Plumbing Zone and I feel its best to list a description of my experiences in this section as I am currently seeking employment abroad. Should you find my experiences beneficial to your company or know of any open positions which suit my experiences, I would really appreciate your consideration.

I come from a family based plumbing company so I know the importance of how an employee represents every aspect of the company. I always go to work with this attitude in mind.

I started work in the plumbing and heating industry in 1998 and completed my apprenticeship with an overall Merit during the year 2000. Since completion I have continued to work in the plumbing and heating industry.

List of my experiences:

Plumbing and heating system design along with soils and waste design. Both Traditional and modern. Residential and Industrial.

Instillation and maintenance of plumbing and heating systems. Gravity and pressurized. Oil to Gas, Geothermal and Solar. Residential and Industrial.

Installation and maintenance of bathroom fixtures and fittings, kitchen appliance and utility services.
Ability to install both traditional and modern fixtures to a very high standard. Both residential and industrial.

Installation and maintenance of soils and wastes.

Connecting and sealing methods associated with plastic soil and waste pipe.

Compression and manipulative, o ring push fit, crimped and swage lock fittings.

Soldering both capillary and solder end feed small dia. High temperature large dia copper soldering.

OxyAce welder (GB/Black). OxyAce cutting, ARC and TIG experience along with brazing.

Plastic fusion welding by use of electro coil and heated plate.

Pipe bending by use of hand tools and machine also experienced in hand threading and machine threading.

All forms of pipe supports from plastic brackets to complex uni strut assemblies.

All forms of pressure tests and the responsibility associated.

Use of hand held power tools, fasteners and fixings. MEWP (Movable Elevated Platform) experience.

Driver of 10 years with no accidents and I hold a clean record.

Experienced in the use of detailed drawings and I have the ability to confidently work from my own initiative, I can also work well within a team environment.

Accommodating the various trades associated with the construction industry. I have the ability to liaise with clients, architects and site foremen and undertake the tasks accordingly.

Dealing with customers in a presentable and friendly manor. I have to ability to listen to customers requests and carry out works accordingly with respect to property, possessions and privacy.

Refurbishments and Retro fits. Plumbing and heating fault finding ability's.

Making out quotes and job pricing. Responsible when ordering pipe and fittings. Receipts filed.

Directing apprentices and the responsibility involved.

Importance of on site safety.

Experienced in working from heights and in confined spaces. I have no phobias towards heights or confined spaces and I am physically fit.

Experienced in completing tasks within deadlines. Open to overtime should a project require and willing to be available for emergency call out.



Some successful projects completed:


Multiple residential property's throughout Ireland
Traditional Thatch cottages and Castles all the way up to 9000sq ft modern residential buildings with swimming pools. Responsible for all plumbing, heating, soils and wastes also bathroom fixtures and fittings and kitchen, utility appliances. Maintenance duties also.

Dublin Airport Control Tower
Responsible for the instillation of Oil distribution fuel lines for the tower backup generators. Also carried out plumbing and heating works within the tower and associated buildings. Both AHU and HVAC systems installed and all the related pipe work. Sprinkler systems installed.

INTEL FAB24 Kildare
Involved in the construction of the FAB from base build to completion. Responsible for the instillation of multiple emergency drench showers. Great experiences gained in small bore process pipe work, double contained pipe work containing extremely hazardous substances, stainless and copper pipework up to 4", cast iron, fusion weld plastic fittings, ABS plastics and large volume duct work up to 56". Sprinkler systems installed along with AHU and HVAC works.

St James and Vincents Hospital Dublin

Responsible for works carried out on both hospital extensions. Great experiences gained in large 1 Million BTU Oil/Gas boiler installation and the associated distribution pipework, flanges, pumps, valves, observation and balancing controls. Experienced gained in high volume hot and cold water storage and the distribution pumps and pipework associated. Also included maintenance duties throughout both hospitals.

Harold's Cross Hospice Dublin

Responsible for the installation of 56 assisted toilet and washroom areas and provided Nurse wash stations throughout the entire ward. Great experience gained in mechanically assisted control baths and fully assisted shower areas. Great experience gained in vast amount soil and waste to facilitate the huge demands within the hospice. Maintenance duties carried throughout the wards plumbing and heating system.

Education and Certificates
Successfully completed both Junior and Leaving Certificate Exams.
Diploma in Music Industry. 1 year course covering all aspects of the Music Industry at a professional level.
FAS Standards Based Plumbing Apprenticeship. Awarded with overall merit.
Natural Gas Installation and safety awareness G1. LPG installation.
Coded/Certified OxyAce welding. GB/Black, root, fill and cap ex-ray passed, fixed 45 position.
Manual Handling Safety. A course covering all safety areas concerned with lifting heavy objects.
MEWP trained. A training course covering scissor lift and boom lift correct operation.
Current holder of a Safe Pass card. A vital safety course covering all aspects of site safety.
Geothermal ground source heating systems. Heat pump installations combined with deep bore and ground collector renewable energy heating systems. Air to water heat pump installations. Heat distribution by use of underfloor/radiant heat. Air recovery and recirculation units.
Solar energy hot water storage systems. Educated in Vacuum tube solar collectors. Attended a solar instillation course provided by one of Europe's leading vacuum tube manufacture Thermomax.

Interests and hobbies
I attend many motocross events and raced both 2 and 4 stroke motocross competitively in Ireland. I enjoy music and play both drums and guitar, both at professional levels. I enjoy spending time on a lake fly fishing and have won dozens of trophies. A former member of the Irish Fly Fishing team representing Ireland during European competitions.

References
I can provide former employer references and copies of my certificates upon request. I have already begun to document my working history with periods of employment signed by former employers. I have the required 72 months in order to obtain a Canadian migrant skilled worker visa.

Location and salary requirements

Open to all destinations and a salary to enable me to afford a reasonable standard of living.
